Becka Nelson

Becka, who grew up in Morris, IL, first came to Ironwood in 2020 for her sister’s wedding. She later attended Leadership Live. After high school, she worked at a local bank for about a year, followed by working at a trucking company as an onboarder for new hires. She didn’t grow up going to Ironwood, but God used different camps to help her grow in her walk with Him and develop her love for camp. She returned to Ironwood as a volunteer in January 2023, worked on summer staff that summer, and joined the Ministry Bound program that fall. In June 2024, Becka joined resident staff as part of the Registration Team. Becka also works in the Homestead as one of the breakfast head cooks. We are thankful for her enthusiasm, skill, and hard work!
