Summer Staff Standards

Must be a born-again Christian.

Must sign the doctrinal statement from conviction, not convenience.

Must maintain a maturing spiritual walk with God in order to be always ministering to the needs of others.

Must be faithful in daily personal devotions, spending time in Bible reading and prayer.

Must maintain a separated position on things of this world, such as worldly music, dancing, movies, smoking, alcohol, drugs, filthy language, and personal appearance.

Must reflect the testimony of Christ in personal appearance at all times. Dress must be modest and appropriate for the occasion with all fashions coming to the knee.

Must love young people. Love is a self-sacrificing desire to meet the loved person’s needs.

Must maintain loyalty toward camp leaders. No griping; constructive suggestions welcomed.

Must be faithful, dependable, and responsible. These qualities are not optional.

Must adhere to staff dating regulations. Socializing among staff while camp is in session is discouraged.
