Carol Bond

Carol, who served on summer staff as part of the Homestead crew in 1984, grew up in Ames, IA. She graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in church ministries with an emphasis in camp work and joined resident staff in 1985. For many years she served as assistant program director and then program director of Rivertown, where she was very instrumental in the success of our desert science camps, before launching the Broken I Ranch junior camp program and later the Ike’s Roost horsemanship and junior high camps. She is our senior program director and stays busy planning camps, running activities, and assisting other camps in the Family of Camps with her wealth of knowledge and experience.
