Carole Sahlstrom

Carole (pronounced “Carol E” here at camp to avoid being confused with Carol Bond) grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. She first came to Ironwood in June 1998 with the intention of only staying for the summer, but she joined the apprentice program that fall. Two years later, she joined the full-time resident staff team as a cook and served as the Homestead Team Leader for number of years before transitioning to our business office. Carole is still one of the main breakfast cooks.
